This lively annual celebration of our interfaith community supports our Food for Thought Campaign to raise money for our school lunch and food security program for Umoja Project students in the Chulaimbo area of western Kenya.
Enjoy traditional Kenyan fare while you get to know your neighbors of various faiths and backgrounds.
Featured speaker: Dave Miner, board member of Bread for the World and former executive director of Interfaith Hunger Initiative, will be speaking about food security.
The evening also includes a silent auction, marketplace, and live music.
The Umoja Project feeds daily school lunch to 3,100 students in 18 primary schools and also provides emergency food to child-headed households.
Your ticket purchase for the Interfaith Thanksgiving Dinner covers the cost of your meal and a year of school lunch for a Kenyan child.
